I am trying to identify what three headers, if present in an HTTP response, always have to be processed in a specific order.
I have done a good amount of reading in my text: Web Application Architecture by Shklar and Rosen, and I have done research online but my research has only confused me more.
Best How To :
Check out Chapter 3, section 3.4.0 and 3.4.1 of your text.
To prevent browsers from getting confused and showing source code without fully rendering it, as plain text, or a server side script, which would be a security risk, MIME is used to create a processing order. Two header which are dependent on each other are Content-Encoding and Content-Type. The most common example is content-type="html/text". For the body to be interpreted according to the type specified in the Content-Type header, it has to first be decoded according to the encoding method specified in the Content-Encoding header.
